I've never worked in Japan. I mean I work in Japan, but I work from my home and have never needed Japanese language or workplace skills. But I do know people who have, so I set up interviews with 8 of them to see what their experiences were like. All of them worked in the "real" Japanese workplace, from small, modern companies to big traditional ones. Or in other words, they worked jobs that didn't involve teaching English. They needed to be proficient in the Japanese language and business culture. All the interviewees speak English, have lived outside of Japan for some period of time, and have university degrees. So these are not your typical Japanese workers, let's just be ultra clear on that. But I think they do help give insight into what it's like working in Japan and how it compares ...

I often get asked "How's Life in Japan?" What I think they're really asking is what is the quality of life like. I live in Tokyo, the biggest metropolitan area in the world. It's got to be a hectic life, right? The easiest answer I can give is "I bought a house". There's a lot that factors into quality of life: health, family, education, environment, social belonging, recreation and leisure time, and a bunch of financial stuff that influences the cost and standard of living. Hi all! Who wants to know what is it? Very funny and weird moments from Japan :3
Hello, I'm Constantin Ivan , and my wife Elena ,we've lived in Japan for 3 years, as you can see in the movie. We made the movie to start a new channel about Japan, from our point of view, and different from others, maybe more interesting, or not ,but we had the most wonderful time of our life, and we are going to share with you!

This is just how i’m currently feeling and things are on the up now. I’m now striving to find a way to pursue YouTube more and figure out visa stuff. I think the school life isn’t for me, but there are so many people who enjoy it and can either dedicate all their time to it or go on a more relaxed program. (my next video is about a company who can help you find the right language school thats best for you). Also there are more visa opportunities than what i mentioned, you just have to look and work really hard to find them. ANYWAY the big message is: I’m gonna be changing some things. Much love to you all, and don’t let what im saying discourage you in any way when it comes to Japan and school. If you want something, fight for it and do your best and you can achieve it. Love to all of you!...

Kyoto, Japan, has long been considered one of the country’s most beautiful cities. Once the capital of the nation, Kyoto is now an ultra-modern haven that retains a great deal of its ancient charm. To see some of this long-established glamour, make your way to Kyoto Tower. Just two miles east of the tower is Gion, an entertainment quarter and home to many of Kyoto’s famous geishas. As you walk east through Gion, you’ll find even more old architecture, including several Ryokan, or traditional Japanese inns. Many date back to the Edo period, which ranged from 1603 to 1868. During your Kyoto tour, take a rickshaw ride to the Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka districts, where cars are prohibited and traditional teahouses and temples adorn the nearby landscape. Kyoto is known as “The City of Ten Th...
